Real Bread Campaign Knife

To mark the Real Bread Campaign’s 15th anniversary, I'm hand-crafting a strictly-limited run of just 15 bread knives. We’re doing this as a fundraiser, so a slice of each sale will go to Sustain, the food and farming charity that runs the Campaign.

  • 100% handforged and handmade by me
  • 4000 year old bog oak handle
  • Laminated mild steel & reclaimed Sheffield steel construction
  • 10" blade length
  • Peined copper pin
  • Designed for slicing artisan bread

Wow, wow, wow! What a beautiful work of art.”

Wayne Caddy, Sourdough Slingers

Most beautiful knife ever.”

Jim Challenger, Challenger Breadware

It's just so beautifully crafted.”

Vanessa Kimbell, The Sourdough School

I have only one word, WOW!!! The knives are above and behind my wildest
expectations. You sir are a true master.

Daniel Wagner

"I am now the proud owner of a knife that is not only a unique work of
art and craftsmanship, but designed to slice the crustiest of
sourdough loaves without effort"

Diana Mackay

This is a limited run of 15. Each knife will be touchmarked (hot stamped) with the Real Bread Campaign logo and a serial number. As well as obviously my original touchmark.

I ship worldwide and regular post all over the world via UPS. I'll give some postage choices below but please reach out if your location isn't listed or you wish to check.

From ordering to dispatch, my estimated turn around is 10-14 weeks. This is as it's an entirely handforged and handmade process that cannot be rushed.

6% of each sale goes towards the Real Bread Campaign! This is a limited run, so please note that work will commence by the 15th of October 2023, or as soon as 15 orders are made.

Secure card payment handled through PayPal (doesn't require a PayPal account). I accept UK/International bank transfers as well, please just ask.

Hi, I’m Richard!

  • I am passionate about sourcing food locally, which partly inspires my hand forged, upcycled kitchen knives
  • I've always loved to cook. I'm someone who gets excited by bizarre things like purple sprouting broccoli and freshly baked bread, but I have never been a chef
  • I love to travel, mostly for food
  • My workshop is based in the heart of Shropshire, England
